  1. Personally, I wore the Red Lantern T Shirt and ring to watch the movie in the theatres. One, to support the movie knowing that its horrible. But to be honest its not as bad as I expected it to be. I wouldn’t pay money to watch it again but its alright I guess. And I absolutely agree its the script and special effects that ultimately killed the movie. Being an avid reader of Green Lantern there should really be a climax in which all the members of the Corps broke rules and went to help Hal fight Parallax. Its just so detaching and half assed that they didn’t attempt to do anything that happens occasionally in the Green Lantern comic books. Sinestro’s not fleshed out enough for him to actually form the Sinestro corps when Sinestro wasn’t even kicked out or anything. And there was just so many places they could have stuffed Easter Eggs into the movie aside from the 20 mins of CG we saw of the entire corps.

  2. It wasn’t as bad as the critics said, but wasn’t nearly as good as it could’ve been. Sinestro needed much more screen time. Mark Strong deserved more than blake lively. Reynolds did well with the script he was given. You magnificos are correct, the pacing and editing were horrible. GL was not as good as ff1, but better than ff2. I’m hoping GL2 will be Wrath of Khanish. Vastly improved over the first one. Happy to see GL on big screen, but will not be adding to the blu ray collection as i will with Thor And Xmen 1st class. Here’s hoping Cap knocks it outta the park.
