A Magnifico review of the SyFy original movie Swamp Shark. This one has Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Wade Boggs, sexual situations, disturbing racial undertones, oh and a giant armored shark. Better grab your whiskey and buckle your airboat belts for this one folks… it’s nuttier than a squirrel turd.

  2. Swamp Shark was crap and I can’t believe SYFY drops money into these made for it’s network TV. The special effects were terrible. I thought the Piranha movie on the desert lake was better and that’s not saying much.

  4. I liked it. All of the jokes about how SYFY gave the movie a lack of budget was priceless. Swamp boobs yeah that was great. I also was wondering about why they were trying to shoot the dorsal fin of the shark. Why is it a surprise that there is a shark in the water when bull sharks are known to go up into those swamps. You got a point about the kids not getting eaten. I was wondering when one of the kids were going to get swallowed. Yet nothing happened. I thought the Jaws moment was cheesy. The shark was supposed to come from very low depths in the ocean. That explains why it didn’t need that much oxygen. Remember it was supposed to have scaly skin. I still can’t believe that I watched this movie. I am done watching SYFY made for movie flicks. Yes I have to agree towards the end. You can’t apply logic to this movie. You guys are funny hehe…swamp puss. I disagree with your ratings of 1 1/2, 2, 2. I wish i could get the two hours back that’s how much I didn’t like it. Give the movie a 1.
