Now how much of this is a reboot? Well, every series going right now is starting in media res (with the arguable exceptions of Action Comics and Justice League). It’s not that any series is starting at the beginning of a character’s story, but rather that they’re starting at the beginning of A story and are filling you in on background as they go.

That being said, it’s entirely possible that we might find background to Hal Jordan and/or the GL Corps to be different than we knew, in subtle ways. Detective Comics had some rather startling changes in Batman’s continuity, even though the basics are still in place.

I would give it one more point on your five-point scale. The story didn’t feel lacking to me; it was competent but just didn’t blow me away. I’m mildly intrigued at the events but mostly curious where the ending is going to go for next month’s issue.
