The New 52

The first month of the DC Comics relaunch is over. This episode, we take a look at the highs and the sexy lows of the DCnU. It takes an armored set of cojones to relaunch a universe. Did DC pull off the impossible? Listen in!

  1. You guys are a little too self amused. Guess what? You aren’t funny. It’s all nerd humor and it leaves everyone just a little uncomfortable for how dumb it is.

  2. Sorry you didn’t like the episode Jeff, we’re just trying to diffuse all the sexual tension between us with nerdy humor. -Juan Daeho

  3. I hate it all I can not fine a time line here. I can live with Super-man but Bat-girl, Nightwing, Robin, Red Robin, and Ted did he kick out a Robin a year or what? Its like I reliving the 90’s FUCK up time line all over. I am not reading many of these so call new books. I hate this more then the new Ultimate marvel that is being force on to me.

  4. UGH! This reboot is such a disgrace in so many levels, it’s not even funny. As of now at this point, I miss my real DCU and it’s continuity!

  5. I am so enjoying the DC relaunch!! Finally, DC is doing something bold and new (sort of lol). My biggest grip with DC comics for a long time was that they didn’t do anything new; that they were more willing to resurrect a villan or hero from 1956 then make a new more updated, more relevent villan or hero, and when they did they were looking for a way to kill them 2 or 3 months after there creation. When you got to go back 20 or more yrs worth of back issues just to understand why Libra’s or Egg fu’s return was so signifigant, it’s time to do some spring cleaning. Don’t get me wrong continuity is nice, but 70 to 80 yrs worth is a bit much. And it’s not like DC trashed everything, they just tweeked certain things and certain people and updated a universe that was getting (let’s face it) confusing and boring. Along with adding in the wildstorm, and some of the vertigo characters making this once bright and sunny universe get a bit grittier and more down to earth was a great move. I am excited to see where alot of this goes
