Marvel Comics Fantastic Four/FF Story: Jonathan Hickman Ending with Fantastic Four #588, moving to FF #1, then back to #600 and entertaining the entire time. Jonathan Hickman is orchestrating a run on ”Marvel’s First Family” that will be no doubt be added to the Marvel Visionaries line. |

DC Comics Flashpoint: Batman – Knight of Vengeance Story: Brian Azzarello Quite possibly the ONLY good thing to come of the whole Flashpoint debacle. A different and truly entertaining take on the Batman/Joker relationship. And if you sit back and think about it, it makes perfect sense. |

Dynamite Entertainment! Terminator/Robocop – Kill Human Story: Rob Williams I’ve said before I hate time travel stories, but if it’s a mini that doesn’t affect anything, I’m down.Terminator/Robocop – Kill Human has over-the-top time traveling mayhem and an ending you won’t see coming. |

IMAGE Comics The Walking Dead Story: Robert Kirkman Some have complained about the slow burn of some of the arcs, but when the shocks hit, they hit big. Still some of the best cliffhanger pages in all of comics. |

Marvel Comics Uncanny X-Force Story: Rick Remender I’ve enjoyed this title from issue #1, and here’s the podcast to prove it. In my opinion, this is the best X book out. It may have overexposed Deadpool, but Rick Remender tones him down so he’s not that annoying. The Dark Angel Saga just wrapped with a death scene that was actually heartfelt. |
